Elf-D remotely controlled airplane (MAI)
"Elf-D" experimental unmanned airplane (OSKBES MAI)
Elf-D was developed at MAI within research program "Distantsia" ("Distance"). NII AS DPLA issued TZ (specifications) for this project to investigate opportunities to control aircraft of the "Elf-D" class using TV systems.
Special operator control desk was designed an built.
Two "Elf-D" were built, trials took place but the outcome is unknown.
