Factory N°292 (Saratov)

In 1940 started production of Yak-1. Seriously damaged by massive Luftwaffe strike (night June 23/24, 1943). It took 80 days to restore the factory. In October production rate was back to the May level.

In 1944 switched to more advanced Yak-3:

• April: first Yak-3 send to the Army;
• May: Yak-3 made 21.6% of all built aircraft
• June: 52.7%
• July: 98.1%

Total production - 8550 Yak-1 aircraft.
