According to the Director General of the Ilyushin AK V.Livanov, production blueprints are to be completed at the end of 2001. Some packages are already at the Voronezh Plant, were undergo final technological studies. Assembly of the production lines is still on hold, because military delay signing of the contract.
First flight (originally planned for 2002) also will be delayed.
According to different sources, Il-112 mockup was already presented to defence ministry and some potential commercial byers.
