Experimental fighter, development of the La-156 with thin non-swept wing (TK stays for Tonkoe Krylo, Thin Wing).
More powerful engine (1*1590kg NII-1) was installed.
Trials in early 1948 proved that straight wing has no chances to compete with swept one at high flight speeds. All steed against the La-156 was gained due to new powerplant. La-174TK was the last straight-wing aircraft of S.A.Lavochkin team.
One built.
