The Lebed-X was built as a single-seat fighter or reconnaissance aircraft. Two options differed by wingspan - reconnaissater had 3-strut wing box, fighter - 2-strut. Ailerons were on the upper wing only. Quite clean fuselage was covered with fabric.

It was underpowered and was found unsuitable for both fighter and reconnaissance duties.
