Experimental tailless delta aircraft with tricycle undercarriage, designed by Students' design bureau MAI. Pilot's cockpit was in a nacell faired into the wing center section with the 80hp motorcycle engine, driving the 2-blade pusher propeller (above the trailing edge).
The dart-shaped wing had a thick section with straight center-section trailing edge and tapered outer sections. MAI-62 is probably related to some late B.I.Cheranovskij projects.
