Pe-2 fighter variant, V.M.Petlyakov

Pe-2 in fighter configuration. Crew of two (navigator position deleted). Armament was strong - two 20mm ShVAK, two 7.62mm ShKAS and two 12.7mm UB in the nose, two 100kg FAB-100 in engines nacells. Radio-operator had one UB in ventral position. Aircraft was powered by 1100hp M-105R engines and had increased fuel capacity.

No series followed.
