Pe-2R reconnaissater by V.M.Myasichev
Pe-2 was widely used as a reconnaissance platform, but it was rather 'field conversion' than a specialized airframe. Two projects of Pe-2R optimized as a long range high speed photo reconnaissater emerged in 1943 and 1945.
Both had an extended range and carried no bomb load, carried rich assortment of high resolution cameras.
