Amphibian aircraft of normal airdynamic scheme with cantilever mid-placed wing and pusher propeller. Novelty is a 3-float layout which guarantee same takeoff/landing routine on both water and land. Handling on takeoff and landing is simple, aircraft may be flown by beginner pilots. In addition, "Pony" can handle waves up to 0.4m, much higher than other aircraft of its class.
Wheels of the landing gear are retractable, equipped with breaks.
Aircraft has an aluminum alloys frame and fabric skinning of tail surfaces and (partially) wing. Floats - plastic, made by AO "APATEK".
Cockpit equipment includes compass, barometric altimeter, air speed and direction gauges.

Experimental aircraft was built at MAPO named after Dementiev. First flight - December 1994. End of certification ("Pony" complies to airworthiness standards for very light aircraft JAR-VLA) was scheduled for Fall 1996.
