R-III by M.M.Shishmarev

Biplane reconnaissance aircraft, its size was similar to one of N.N.Polikarpov R-1. Fuselage was raised to the upper wing in order to provide better view. R-III had good performance, but it was decided not to interrupt production of the R-1.

Only one R-III was built.
