Development of the Su-1. The changes did not include the replacement of the unreliable turbochargers, only the clipping of the wingtips, which did little to improve performance.
One built in 1941, evacuated and tested in 1942 on the new site (LII). Flight test were not finished due to same bad turbochargers.
