Su-30MK / 10-4PMK-2, P.O.Sukhoj
In 1993 a modification program for the Su-30 was adopted, including
- Multi-functional RLS capable to detect and track more targets simultaneously;
- Multi-functional high-resolution color LCDs;
- Improved Opto-electronic navigation/targeting complex;
- Modern computer equipment linked to GPS and on-board inertial navigation system;
- New system status control, taking into account not only aircraft components status but also external tactical situation;
- Laser ranging/targeting system, IF station capable for day/night/all-weather operation;
- Two extra hard points;
Modifications are to be introduced step-by-step, without interrupts in Su-30 production.
