Carrier-based fighter ("Korabelnij", so Su-27K) derivative of the Su-27, with canards added, folding outer wing panels, strengthened undercarriage with twin nosewheel, arrester hook.

The use of thrust-vectoring nozzles on the production aircraft is considered.
